About Kol Shalom Messianic Ministries  & Fellowship

 Preaching Yeshua and Teaching Torah

In our modern  society there are many who believe that there is no need for a belief in any supreme being. Instead they rely on their own prowess and desires to guide them in their aspirations. As we look at the tragedies of the last 20 years, we have seen an increase in murders, divorce, terrorism, drug and alcohol abuse. It is clear that today's "I'm OK /you're OK  theology does not work. Many say we are entering the last days . The Bible says no one will know the time , but it sure feels like things are heading that direction and pretty much in the fast lane. So, what can we do ?  Many say follow in the footsteps of Jesus /Yeshua and teach people to be humble and to love everyone no matter what . Good in theory but in reality this is the cry of today's  ultra-liberal Christianity that says salvation is given freely and you need do nothing to obtain it , your sins are of no consequence cause Jesus took them all away.

But is this REALLY  true???

Come join us and learn if this is  sound teaching according to the Holy Scriptures and the teachings of the religious authorities of Yeshua's time.(Remember the closer to the event the more accurate the information conveyed)

Christians of many branches say "the Old Testament is a nice story but has no relevance in the times after Jesus". If this is true why do we need salvation in the first place ?

Likewise Many seem to think that a Jewish believer in Messiah Yeshua/Jesus is no longer a Jew  but now must behave as a Christian and stop following G-d's word as written in the Torah and follow the example of  the modern church and take on the beliefs of those who do not follow Torah ( the people all around us).

Could it be true

that believers in the Messiah Yeshua/Jesus need to stop following Torah ?

Visit us and ask  the question, What would Yeshua/Jesus have us do?

As Messianic Believers in Messiah Yeshua we are of the understanding that Adonai is THE ONE and ONLY True G-d and is forever the same. His word speaks to us today even as it did thousands of years ago. Our Team of educators will happily sit with you to plan a course of study that will bring new meaning to your faith in Yeshua the Messiah.

Yeshua himself said in Matthew 5.

"18 Yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away, not so much as a yud or a stroke will pass from the Torah -- not until everything that must happen has happened. 19 So whoever disobeys the least of these mitzvot and teaches others to do so will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whoever obeys them and so teaches will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. "

For this reason we are a charter ministry of the

Coalition of Torah Observant Messianic Congregations

 What is a "Messianic" ??

In General

A Jew  or gentile that has accepted Yeshua bar Yoseph and Miriam to be the annointed one  the salvation from all our sins  as fortold in the T'Nakh. In particular if they are as an outward indication living a lifestyle that follows the example of the Messiah (Yeshua lived a fully JEWISH lifestyle as indicated in the Apostolic writings known as the New Testament)

In traditional Judaism

In Rabinical Judaism there is a shift within some sects to call themselves in closed circles "Messianic Jews" this is not to be confused with the term as identified in the above paragraph  but is now being used to show that they believe in not specificly a person comming as the Messiah  but the comming of a time of peace and well being to be known as "the Messianic Age" This particular belief denies all scriptural indications of what the "Messiah" will look like , and instead makes room for Liberalization and watering down of the core of Jewish belief , That of being a Unique /Peculiar people different from the rest of the world. Part of this watering down of our faith makes it ok to call oneself a Jew  and yet be Bhudist ,B'hai, or a wide range of other religions worshiping multiple gods ,even to the point of being Agnostic or Athiest  , and to still say with assurity  "I am a Jew "  Yet  if a Jew says  I believe Yeshua is the Messiah spoken of , he becomes a pariah .

 One Torah  For All Believers

One G-D one Torah

There is to be ONE TORAH and ONE ORDINANCE for you (Descendants of Jacob) and for the alien (Grafted in / Believing Gentiles) who sojourns with you. " Numbers 15:16

Thus says the LORD,
"Stand by the ways (Torah) and seek and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way (Torah) is, and walk in it;and you shall find rest for your souls. Jeremiah 6:16
